Victory Stephens Ministry

The Victory Stephen Ministry comes under the umbrella of Victory’s Partner Care Ministry. The Victory Stephen Ministry equips lay people (Victory Stephen Caregivers) to establish one-to-one caring relationships with those who are hurting. Through the Victory Stephen Ministry people can receive love, care and support as they experience tough times. The VSM is grounded in Jesus’ command to love one another.

Victory Stephen Caregivers: Training and Commitment

A Victory Stephen Caregiver (VSC) commits both their time and effort to serve the needs of others. Each one is required to complete 50-hours of training specifically related to caregiving. In addition, each one also commits to a two-year term of service.

When training is successfully completed, each person is commissioned by Victory in Christ Christian Center to serve as a Victory Stephen Caregiver. Once commissioned, caregivers can be assigned a Care Receiver, with whom they will meet for one hour each week, to minister care and love.
